Who We Are

The people behind
your next big idea.

We bring together experience in smart devices, engineering, and customer strategy to help software developers turn their ideas into hardware they can build on.

Meet Our Team

Leo Gao

Founder & Business Lead

Since graduating from the elite GBUS program of HKUST, Leo has spent more than a decade in smart devices, developing a deep understanding of the hardware supply chain and the challenges of starting a hardware business. He founded Vibay to make that journey more accessible to builders with big ideas.

Co-founder & Engineering Lead

Changlong brings more than 20 years of experience in smart device design, validation, and manufacturing. His work includes prototyping and validation services for clients such as Tesla, Logitech, IKEA Home Smart, Xiaomi, and Harman Kardon, bringing practical engineering expertise to the journey from concept to finished hardware.

Ryan Chan

Customer & Marketing Lead

Ryan connects customer needs with product opportunities. Since graduating from the University of Chicago, he has built around a decade of experience working with clients across consumer-facing industries on market strategy, product innovation and development, and portfolio strategy.

Gary Li

Hardware & Software Integration Lead

Gary brings deep experience across software and hardware development, with a focus on design optimization. His expertise in AI-assisted coding connects these disciplines, helping teams refine how hardware is built and how the software behind it is developed.

Ray Lei

Product Design Lead

With more than 15 years of experience in hardware engineering, Ray has led numerous smart device projects in industrial design and optimization. His expertise spans ergonomics and design for manufacturing, helping products work better for the people who use them and the teams who build them.

Our Capabilities

The team and tools
to bring ideas to life.

Our in-house team and facilities bring together CNC machining, 3D printing, vacuum casting, finishing, and dimensional inspection. From one-off prototypes to small-batch builds, we work across plastics and metals to turn concepts into precise, presentable parts—ready for assembly and testing.
